Gregory Michael Pasciak
Gregory Michael Pasciak, age 60, of Madison, Wisconsin, passed away in early May 2026.
Greg is survived by his mother, Joan Stanke; his sister, Jodie Graunke (Scott); his great-nieces and great-nephew, Dana, Alex, and Larissa; and the love of his life and "muse" of more than 25 years, Sandy. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter W. Pasciak; his brother, William W. Pasciak; and his beloved cat, Tango.
Greg graduated from Madison La Follette High School and later earned a degree in Mechanical CAD Drafting from Herzing College of Technology in Madison, along with additional professional certifications that supported his career and lifelong interest in engineering and design.
A man of many passions, Greg found joy on the lakes of Madison waterskiing with friends, attending EAA events in Oshkosh, following all things aviation, and exploring the roads and trails as an enthusiastic cyclist. He was an admirer of music—especially Adam and the Ants—and enjoyed playing his guitar. Greg also dedicated his time and talents to helping others through volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity ReStore, the American Red Cross, and many other charitable organizations through his giving spirit.
Known for his quirky wit and fun-loving personality, Greg inherited a wonderful sense of humor and a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He especially loved decorating for the holidays, with Christmas and Halloween holding a special place in his heart. He also never lost his appreciation for his mother's cooking, which brought him comfort and joy throughout his life.
At Greg's request, no funeral service will be held. Instead, he asked to be remembered through an "Active Tribute":
"Remember me when you waterski, hear a favorite song, take a bike ride, hear an airplane flying overhead, spend time with your pet, or volunteer to help others. Remember me by living and enjoying life."
Memorial donations in Greg's memory may be made to the ASPCA. ASPCA Memorial Donation Link
Greg's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and his spirit will continue to inspire acts of adventure, kindness, laughter, and generosity.
